Construction carpentry works
The saying "I wore out my legs" is often used, but in fact legs are very rarely worn, and much more pathos on which hodamo However, the wear and tear of pathos and parquet does not just happen due to the fact that we walk on it, but also from many others reasons. In order to successfully fix such errors, it is necessary to get to know the construction - even if only from a picture and the composition of pathos. The name of the most common pathos is ship or Swedish floor.
Pathos boards are placed on shaped mats beams, and under them is a floor covering in one or two layers.
Individual floor boards are connected to each other with a straight line connecting surfaces, with flap, tongue and groove and with an insert (fig. 1).

PICTURE 1
When raising the pathos, timber that is inficithe wound with mushrooms should be watered, separated and if possible, burn later. If the boards are good and we want them again use, then we must be careful while raising them to we wouldn't damage their backs with nails. Especially should be careful not to damage the grooves of the boards because they are attached hidden nails. Parts of the pathos that have been patched cancan be arranged so that the "patches" are under the furniture. If if the pathos is quite worn, it should be replaced during the repair not only the worn parts, but also the surrounding surface.
A ship's softwood deck can be repaired only with boards that are the same width as the existing ones and which set with connection. If only individual ones are needed change the boards, then it is especially important that the material be the same width.
Boards of minimum thickness should be used for repair of 5 cm. Newly installed elements should also fit on floor mats. Damaged parts should not be removed with a chisel, but with a partial lifting with a wedge, cut it off with a saw (fig. 2).

PICTURE 2
The Swedish pathos is the same as the ship's pathos, but the planks are in it is shorter and is installed by binding, similar to a brick wall. Raising and repairing this pathos is done in the same way as with the ship's pathos, with the fact that new parts must also be includedroom tie (fig. 3).

Parquet floors
Parquet floors are installed with different fastenings (parallel to the wall, diagonally, grouped into rectangles). If the boards are placed in cold or hot glue. then they are with dovetail, and if they are placed on mats and on board base with nailing, then they are with tongue and groove or with groove and insert (boards only with groove attached are small wooden inserts), picture 4. During repair parquet is removed with a sharp chisel. Special attention should be paid so that the boards with the groove and tongue are not damaged when lifting grooves and tongues.

PICTURE 4
The glued parquet is raised by running along it with a chisel layer of glue and only the bottom board may be damaged, and the others parts must remain undamaged.
When the repair is done, the boards are placed on the same the same way as the entire parquet was installed, but during installation of the back boards, only the transverse side with the groove is placed in groove, and a headless nail is hammered into the underside of the board. On the on the extension side, the feather should be cut off and hammered board in its place.
Boards that are replaced individually should be removed with a chisel. Installation of new boards can be done on several Find on:
- in the previously described way,
- by removing the feather on the longitudinal side and
- by cutting off the lower part of the longitudinal grooved side.
Parquet with an insert is repaired in the same way as single boards, but of course no inserts are required.
Parquet glued to asphalt can be easily removedto make, because the boards are placed simply next to each other. In the same way, the parquet can be repaired in the form of mozaika, it is necessary to remove only one board with a chisel, and the others can then be easily removed.
Repairing cast warm floors is already less simple it should be entrusted to an expert, bearing in mind the following:
In the case of a magnesite floor, it is necessary to mark the correct ones the shape of the part being repaired.
The connection lines of the new or new parts should be shaped expansion gaps.
In the case of floors made of bitumen emulsions due to the dark color and with elastic properties, repairs can be made to larger parts as well. New parts can be directly connected to the existing i over time, the differences between the new and old parts will disappear. Smaller sections of continuous floors can also be repaired from artificial materials, but the trace of the repair will always remain. It is a good solution if the damage is repaired with the same materialfracture from which the lower layers are then on the entire surface, after thorough cleaning and sanding, apply a new thin layer.
Glued floors
In the repair of PVC and linoleum floors, it is somewhat favorableI situation. The most common causes of damage to these floors are poor quality of glue, inadequate preparation of the substrate or non-compliance with laying technology. The base most often fails due to excessive humidity or poor and uneven soilon which it is placed. If the tiles before gluing are not sufficiently aged, bubbles may appear on them or to raise the edges.
Blisters will also usually occur due to:
-excessive thickness of the adhesive layer (due to which thecreator hard to evaporate),
-missing the alignment operation after gluing i
- lack or insufficient thickness of the adhesive layer.
Lifting glued floors should be done by hand and a trowelfracture. After lifting, the roll and the base should be cleaned of glue solvent and spatula. Then you need to fix the base. It is best to apply a thin layer of artificial materras. After the drying of this layer, the tiles should be re-glueddrink (fig. 5).

PICTURE 5
When repairing smaller areas, damaged parts should be simply cut from the floor. New material that will to be installed should have the same color, pattern and thickness as the old one floor. When we take out the cut part, we have to clean the substrate of glue and place a new piece that is slightly larger from the old one. When cutting to exact dimensions, opposites the sides should be temporarily fixed with nails to prevent displacements. Cutting must always be done with the help of a ruler in order for the composition to be flat and without gaps. A newly installed piece after gluing, it should be loaded with the weight under which it is placed veneer plate (fig. 6).

PICTURE 6
When cutting, the edges of the old and new boards should they have an overlap of 4-5 cm. Under this fold, you need poput a strip of steel, veneer or molina maxi on the basesmall width of 0,5 cm. Above this strip, with the help of steel ruler, the old and new board should be cut at the same time. After then you need to remove the backing tape, spread the base with gluebreak, remove the cut strips and glue the panels to their own place. Wall-to-wall carpets are glued in a similar way (»tapisons", "itisons", etc.).
Suitable adhesives for linoleum, rubber boards and PVC floors can be obtained in stores with the appropriate instructions for use.
